Hi! I'm Chelsea Kim. I'm a freelance product designer based in Seoul, South Korea & New York City.
Mostly, I've worked on consumer-facing products ranging from Facebook to small startups. Recently, I've been working with startups like Vowel, BitGo, and Karrot Market.
I enjoy designing clever and considerate products that could enlighten our day-to-day lives. My goal is to identify trivial, yet important problems that permeate our environment and to produce meaningful solutions that put people first.

I'm a Product Designer at Coursera. Previously, I was a designer on the News Feed team at Facebook and the Growth team at LinkedIn. I studied Industrial Design as an Undergrad and Interaction Design as a Grad student at Carnegie Mellon University.

What I enjoy
COOKING & BAKING
I love cooking for my family and friends. I took Pastry Fundamentals, Fish & Shellfish Fundamentals, and other cooking classes at the San Francisco Cooking School. I especially had a lot of fun learning how to decorate cakes! I always try to create my own recipes and experiment with new techniques.
ARTS & CRAFTS
I enjoy wheel-throwing pottery, oil painting, Korean sumuk & minhwa painting, photography, and other creative and visual activities. I also love gifting what I make to friends and family.
